University Department of Theoogical Studies

Harvest Christian University is proud to present a comprehensive and innovative Theological Studies program that bridges traditional Christian education with a deep exploration of African heritage and global theological perspectives. This unique curriculum is designed to equip students with a robust understanding of Christian theology while also addressing critical historical, cultural, and contemporary issues. Our program stands out for its intentional focus on African theology, including studies of Kemet and ancient Egyptian religious influences. By incorporating these elements, we aim to provide students with a more complete understanding of Christianity's diverse roots and its development across different cultures. The curriculum carefully balances foundational theological studies with specialized courses that examine challenging topics such as slavery in biblical contexts and the historical origins of the Bible. This approach encourages students to engage critically with scripture and church history, fostering a more nuanced and informed faith.

A strong emphasis on hermeneutics and homiletics ensures that our graduates are not only well-versed in theological theory but also skilled in interpreting and communicating biblical truths effectively. The program's practical components, including a homiletics practicum and a capstone project, prepare students for real-world ministry and leadership roles.By offering this comprehensive and culturally rich theological education, Harvest Christian University aims to produce well-rounded, thoughtful, and effective Christian leaders who are equipped to address the complex spiritual and social issues of our time. Our graduates will be prepared to serve diverse communities with cultural sensitivity, historical awareness, and a deep understanding of both traditional and contemporary theological perspectives.
